For instructional design I mostly focus on actionable ideas that I can apply immediately. If it makes sense and feels good to me I don't look for ID research to validate it. Maybe I should but the low cost of elearning development allows me to try lots of things and stay with the things that resonate with me as an educator and the ability of the students to achieve desired outcomes.

That being said a few resources:
http://elearning.alltop.com/
http://eps411.com - which is my blog on elearning and online education specific to emergency respodners
http://www.articulate.com/rapid-elearning/ - the really outstanding elearning blog from Tom Kuhlmann at Articulate

Good work on updating your blog. I just subscribed with my Google RSS reader.
